Industry Standard Animation Software

Hi,
I am very new to the world of 2d animation. I was looking into purchasing some software to get myself started, but am not sure of which to look into. I have looked at reviews of several different softwares but cannot decide. My question is: what is the industry standard 2D vector-based animation software?
